The best bang for you is a dollar.

That's the best thing about the microphone same, it's the customer service. Then you have a clip on the back of the microphone. Not everything is plastic and cheap. I have a good metal swivel that holds up well. We've used them on all types of fire calls. The only problem was when it was flooded with water from a major industrial fire with multiple sprinklers. It still works, but the volume has been significantly reduced.
