I didn't like that there are 5 buttons to remember including the different functions of each button. I've had an Apple Watch before and it's safe to say that the Garmin Instinct is cumbersome to use. I had to go back to the online user guide for each new feature and for features I don't use regularly. I was absolutely terrified every time I had to look at the dial because I had to press a button to see the time and I couldn't remember which of the buttons made the dial visible again and if I pressed the wrong button , I activated something else. It takes a techno genius to master INSTINCT.
