I used it on a new leather jacket (for application) and found that it did give off lint. I used Leather Honey (great product) on a NEW leather jacket yet the application pads gave off residue. When the jacket dried completely, I was able to use the Applicator sponges to achieve a great water proof shine. No lint with buffing. Just with application.
