Review on Saturn πŸŒ• Science Building LEGO Apollo by Hamilton Larcony

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Amazing detail on the outside, incredible design on the inside

This really is a great product. The model is about 3ft tall and has wonderful detail on the outside, but I was amazed at the complexity and ingenuity of how it's actually put together. It is structurally extremely strong and the way the different sections are arranged inside is truly amazing. I have a degree in mechanical engineering and am passionate about design. It's really wonderful. At $120, it's actually quite affordable for such a large set. Exactly with 1969 parts (pretty cool) it probably took five hours to assemble but the parts come in 12 individual bags (with smaller bags in 12 larger ones for the smaller parts) and the assembly is done package by package so there is no need to separate all the parts beforehand. I didn't lose any parts and a few extra parts (the smallest ones) were added as spares. The directions couldn't have been clearer and I only made a small mistake or two along the way which I quickly figured out. When I was 40 I was hesitant to order LEGO instead of a traditional model kit, but this product exceeded my expectations. strong. It's a lot of fun to build and the finished product is really beautiful. Worth every penny.
