I just got it on 28th November 2020 and set it up straight away and downloaded the app for my iPhone. I found an easy to set up, high quality and easy to use app with some nice features. However, one of the main features is the ability to set an alarm when the meat reaches the set temperature. Yes, you can do this, but you must have an active app and iPhone screen on for the alarm to work. That means he's useless. Even if the application is open but the screen is dark, the alarm on the phone will not work. Outside the grill or smoker, the device works, but if you're outside the door and far enough away to use the WiFi monitor, you won't hear it.
