Doesn't Slide Easily, but Lots of Fun

My dog and I are well versed in dog puzzles, owning quite a few and having tried out others. This puzzle seemed like a more difficult level which is what my dog needs. It came with a cleaner brush which I've never had another puzzle come with. Very useful for this one and my others! The puzzle itself seems sturdy and has no sharp or loose parts, or bad smell. The center button is a classic squeaker. When my pup tried it out, I noticed the slides in the center caught a bit occasionally. The others move smoothly 100% of the time. He figured out to push those pieces harder and was getting faster with each session. The puzzle itself is very light so I had to hold it for him or he'd push it across the floor trying to move pieces. There are rubber pieces on the bottom which help on linoleum but the slides sticking meant he pushed it more than they could handle. It did keep it from flying across the floor though. For dogs that are well versed in puzzles, this should be a fun activity. I wouldn't recommend it for dogs that aren't used to puzzles as it is a higher difficulty. I also wouldn't recommend it for dogs that are obsessed with destroying squeakers. This is definitely a toy to be used under supervision. I could see a heavy chewer cracking the plastic easily and quickly.Overall, this is a great puzzle for the price.
