The cables are very well made and a lot heavier than the standard cables which Club Cars specs should be 6 gauge but feels to me feel lighter. 4 Gauge Wire My car had a medium SOC, about three bars less per meter of car. After installing them, I was surprised to see that my sensor was completely full (no recharging or other changes other than new wires). found he was climbing nearly three times faster than he did this morning with the old cables. Just as important, the cart batt gauge was still at full level after the run. The same run before would have dropped him two bars even if he was straight without a charger. All that said, I can only assume my old OEM Club Car cables had far more resistance than I could have dreamed of. I noticed that the old wires were warm, almost hot to the touch from working hard on the car, which prompted me to order 4 gauge wire. Heat build-up aside, the old cables were found to be in good condition with no corrosion or other visible defects. I hope your results are as good as mine.
