I bought this and just used it for the first time to make cookie dough - 4 double batches of my eggless chocolate chip cookie dough (I use cream cheese instead of eggs) and it passed the test like a champ. (I have a model with a KA 5qt bowl lifter.) It was great to slap everything together without having to keep stopping and emptying the bowl. I will notice that a small strip of dough has formed above the fly knife on the inside. Bowls, but I wouldn't consider that a deal breaker in my opinion. I plan to buy a second one to match my second mixing bowl for ease of use.
