Review on APEC WFS 1000 Capacity Under Sink Water by Paul Barnes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

When you're ready to upgrade from top consumer tier to the "Pro " system without the waste of reverse osmosis water.

I have installed drinking water filters in every home I have lived in for many, many years. country house or city apartment. The latest was a two-stage GE undersink model that lasted about 9 years before the filters got bad reviews from the manufacturers. It's hard to find premium, professional-sized filtration systems like the APEC WFS-1000 without reverse osmosis. This system is the same size as an entire house filter but is designed for under the sink drinking water! All the other filters I've used so far are pathetic in comparison. This system just makes sense! And it fits easily under my smaller single sink in the condo. It is installed with high-quality, easy-to-assemble parts. The hose is simply inserted into the quick couplings. Standard size tube. You won't have to search for specific proprietary fittings and hose sizes from a few companies years later. This is a durable, high-quality material that you can find at your local hardware store. But APEC brings everything together with American details. The standard sink faucet is of above average quality and the water flow is way better than the 2 stage filter I replaced! The taste is as good as it gets! For real! And just know that the water quality is excellent compared to anything but a reverse osmosis system due to the excess filtering capacity, but no water loss. step sand filter. This would make the system "super handy" for filter experts like me. Because water supply varies from place to place, a person can visually monitor the status of their replacement plan without having to rely on an arbitrary 1-year replacement. Namely, this schedule is directly related to the quality of the tap water and the amount used at any given time. Try it too. The price is correct!

Pros
  • Under Sink & Countertop Filter
Cons
  • So far so good
