I am using this with an iPhone XR Max that is covered in a Speck Presidio clear case. The bamboo charging pad I had with my old phone had a ridge that made it difficult to swipe up and send the button on the new phone. The item arrived on time and in good condition. Some specs: It says the power output (charging) is 5-7.5-10W which I think depends on the phone/device which seems to be automatically selected as there are no buttons or anything. Select. The charger is made of durable matte black (ie not glossy/shiny) plastic. Vertical height is 4-1/2 inches, base is 3-1/2 inches in diameter. The bottom has a 1/4 wide round rubber ring to prevent slipping on smooth surfaces; This can be scraped off when it gets slippery (dust and cat hair for me). The ring is quite impervious to liquids in the sense that in a brief experiment I wet the ring which resisted liquid absorption and did not stain white tissue paper. The total weight is 5.2 ounces, so it's safe to carry around in a backpack/bag because of the shape and good durability. The back is held by 5 metal screws to access the charging electronics I think. Generally high quality workmanship and materials. Some more specs: The back panel that the phone rests on is 2-3/4 inches wide and 4-1/2 inches long (height) and is at θ = arctan (ΔY/ΔX) = tilt angle 60.945395900923° , which is a good tilt to see the phone without much reflection and prevent it from falling forward. The phone is held firmly on the back. In comparison, the iPhone XR Max measures 3-1/4 inches wide and 6-1/4 inches tall, which is 2 inches taller, but it still sits comfortably at 9.1 ounces with a case. rests on 2-1/2" W, and the underside is made of the same rubber material as the bottom of the base. Between the corner, the rubber, and the width of the platform, the phone is sturdy, but there's no ledge around the phone too secure but then you can swipe up to unlock the phone and access all buttons/icons There are chargers that have cooling as part of the charger but I didn't notice any heat build up but I didn't measure the charge time It seems as fast as any other charger.The charging cable is a mini USB cable (see pic) which I believe is the same as Sansung(?) and is 3ft long so if you need a longer cable it is easy to find. It doesn't come with a power supply box to plug into an outlet. I assume a standard iPhone charging cube will work as it's 5V 1A and a typical USB connector on a computer is USB 1.0 and 2- specs has .0, Standard downstream connector capable of supplying up to 500mA (0.5A); with USB 3.0 it reaches 900mA (0.9A). I use the 5V-1A connector on my wooden stand to power my charger. If you find that your phone's battery should run in the 20-80% range for longevity and drain it, the cable easily removes and attaches to the back of the base. Two chargers are good. I have one on my desk in my home office (I work from home) and plan to put one in my bedroom.
