I was looking for a shoe that would support the ankle and be comfortable. As I researched different options, I noticed that podiatrists and other knowledgeable people have recommended Ryka shoes for women looking for supportive footwear. I bought another style that was on sale. When I visited my new podiatrist, I asked for her recommendation and she advised me to stick with the Ryka brand. This time I chose Sky Walk and I'm glad I did. They were comfortable the first time I wore them and the choice of colors means there is one that is sure to please everyone. As a bonus, they have a TPU shank that prevents twisting (like I've injured the same ankle twice!). Although they are trail running shoes, they are perfect for walking on any surface. I now own a popular brand and would recommend Ryka to anyone looking for comfort, support and a shoe designed specifically for women's feet.
