Original review: It took me a few tries to connect the device to my computer, but after connecting correctly it does not connect. If it works, it's great. I can say that the bitrate difference is up to 320 kbps. Also, I really can't tell a difference, but even with my computer connected directly via cable I can't tell either, so it exceeded my expectations in terms of sound quality. My problem is that the device seems to be very susceptible to external sources of interference. Sometimes this adds a rather annoying hum or noticeably degrades the quality of audio playback. I'm trying to find a reason but can't yet and I feel it should have been better shielded as a music device in the first place so I can only give 1 star at the moment. Update: 05/16/2017 The seller sent me a replacement after reading my first review. The noise problem does not occur with the plug-in unit. Also, the first device can't automatically switch the music source when a source is muted (I had to manually press the button), but this works great. I'm very happy with the replacement so I've updated the review results to 5 stars accordingly.
