I drive a 2003 Honda CRV and have the check engine light on the whole time which contains the evaporator system code. I had a friend with a code reader test this and reset my light but it comes on after a while. I just wanted this device to reset the light as I don't like it. I bought this OBD scanner to use with my iPhone 6S. I tried their recommended app which only read the code but wanted me to pay to be able to reset the light. I uninstalled that app and tried another one. I downloaded Car Scanner App which was free and works with IOS and OBD tool. This app revolts with light without having to pay or upgrade. I keep the scanner on at all times, and while driving (mind the road, of course) I can always plug in the turn signal and reset it if it comes on. It only takes 30 seconds. This app also measures speed, RPM, coolant temp and more but I don't use it for that, I just wanted the check engine light to go away and it does. perfect. Enjoy!
