I had a Lime Green Game Boy Advance SP as a kid so it immediately caught my attention when I saw it and used it Grab it in RRP. Standard 3DS fare (fantastic) in terms of game library and well worth it. I see scalpers taking this into their own hands and charging MUCH more than the recommended RRP of 199, which is unfortunate. Don't pay more than $199 - the scalpers are disgusting, but I won't let this rating spoil it. Pros - Game Library - Over the years 3DS has developed an extensive game library, all of which are available. in the online shop, which is very nice. Graphic. The 3DS is surprisingly old-fashioned. For a six year old system it seems to be keeping up with the times very well. Of course, New 3DS XL is the third version of the 3DS. The screen quality is fantastic. Significant improvements have been made over the original 3DS released in 2011. This game includes Super Mario World which is great. The nostalgia factor is real. If you don't get Lime Green, Super Mario World costs about $7 to download. Battery life is good if you disable 3D. I typically play around 6 hours in 2D depending on the game, brightness and volume. I usually hate shiny surfaces on systems (especially portable ones) but the way it's done is really nice. The lime green finish is great for hiding fingerprints and dust. I've had it for about ten months now and even normal wear and tear isn't that noticeable. However, DEATH TO A BRILLIANT FINISH. Fur 3D. It was a great feature when the 3DS came out, but now it's more of a gimmick than anything. 3D face tracking makes it easier to play in this mode, but consumes battery power. Cons: No charger included. I can't figure out why it wasn't enabled. Luckily I've "upgraded" and had an additional since the Red New 3DS XL launched, but that doesn't excuse the problem. Again, Nintendo has addressed this with the new 2DS XL, which is nice. inner memory. Nothing. You almost NEED to get a larger SD card if you want to load a significant game library onto the system. It contains a smaller card (4GB if space allows) that is used to store backup data and update data. - Only accepts SDHC MicroSD cards - Make sure you buy one of these or you'll run into issues - MicroSD XC cards can have issues here, so you won't be able to get the largest capacities. - According to the last scam, MicroSD is a huge problem. You must remove the back cover from the system, which requires the use of the world's smallest screwdriver. As far as I know, this is resolved in 2DS XL, which is nice.
