Love the battery storage so they don't stay in the viewfinder. By disconnecting the batteries, the device is no longer damaged by leaking old batteries. The case looks solid and is made of quality materials. Remember that the viewfinder is stored "upside down" so when you open the case you are looking at the underside of the viewfinder. If that bothers you, look elsewhere. I personally agree with that as a little oddity to make room for battery storage.
