I love the idea of this game for young kids and how they can use it however, my child’s understanding of the game and how to use it came a little bit difficult. The drawings and the sheet is what did it for us. Not in a good way. The game board is a cloth with small pictures that are a little difficult to see. They also have too much going on within the clues and the board itself. For example, we are looking for a duck but it has a christmas hat on, then the letter B but it’s lower case so it may actually be a 6 or even an upside down 9. Then there’s the lock box and key they had to look for. It was—I’m not sure if overwhelming is a good term, but he seemed to be a bit frustrated with trying to find the items since the board is a little bit "busy” looking. I really wanted to like this game, but I think if the characters or drawings were different and basic rather than extra small and have extra things it’d be great to use.
