The results were amazing:• Acrylics paint: Simply wipe it up while wet or let it dry on the mat and then is easily removed by peeling it off the silicone.• Oil paint: Easy to wipe off with no need for thinners or other chemicals.• Watercolor: mixes ok, but separates like most plastic palettes.• Gauche: Same as watercolor• Craft paints (acrylic, enamel, and other): Easy to wipe wet paint off without leaving residues.There is only one drawback – the mats are not a good color for color mixing – need white or a neutral gray to cover most mixing needs.
