You will need to mortise the floor jam

Seems like a very good product.
I had to exchange mine because I was missing a spring to hold the bolt in place when sliding it up and down. When I finish installing the first one, I will probably buy another.

Pros

Screws would have been nice.

Cons

The satin chrome finish may scratch easily
