The mats feel like plastic, not hard rubber.
The mats are made of hard plastic which allows them to move around the trunk and trunk. By design it still provides some sort of protection and lining for wet items or may contain liquids. Can't entirely fault it, but since the material quality of these rugs isn't the best, that's the reason for the 3 stars.
