I bought s/m as I'm a petite woman but I can definitely say these are compression stockings! More compression than the previous style I bought - they were under mmHg. and maybe bigger. They are very cute and bright! I wash my face with warm/cold water and I don't bleed. And since I washed them before use I can't tell if they shrink but I can confirm - they fit snug but are comfortable once the fight is over. One downside to cute designs (since they appear to be woven like socks) is that they leave marks on your feet :( Would otherwise love to wear them to work - they're hard to put on, but they're comfortable and supportive!
