probably the best headset you can get at this price

the thing sounds phenomenal, as does the microphone. I wish I'd waited a week for the wireless version, but credit where it's due. this is a really good headset. simply, it's the best you can retail for under three hundred dollars. the mic sounds great and is quite comfortable, except that the headband creates a pressure point that needs constant adjustment. Obviously it could have something to do with my head, but it wasn't bad enough to consider anything else in its place. I wouldn't call myself an audiophile because it sounds pretty confusing, but it's one of those things I usually don't see the point of To save money. my daily drivers are Audeze Mobius if I manage to fix it. You just can't beat these imo drivers. This one doesn't sound as good, but it has better positional audio than anything I've used other than my discrete 5.1 surround sound on my z906. without doubt. I've never seen any marketing for this thing. I think the price is super cheap compared to the rest of the market. I like this headset better than my old Arctis Pro kit. It's not that great for music, but it's very close with the X-Fi shit turned off. I'm talking shit, but it's this feature that makes the surround sound so compelling. it is really very good. I don't like any other virtual surround effect as much as this one. of course, the actual sound quality when using this effect annoys me a bit. However, the compromise is not difficult. This is a better deal than anything I can think of, it's under $250. bright. the app is annoying. This thing has no customization options. It has an RGB button, a "Super X Fi" button that toggles between three modes, and a volume slider. The mic is detachable and sounds buttery smooth like a phone call during the games I'm playing. I bought it because I physically damaged my main headset and had no other way to communicate in-game, although I enjoy playing with a large surround kit. I can't believe I got this for 65 used bones. I'm impressed enough to look for a wireless version as soon as possible. OH, there's a lot of noise from the included cable. I'm pretty sensitive to stuff like that and I really only have an issue with it when the headset is on and there's no sound at all. Only the low frequencies of cable noise seep into your ears, at least there is no clarity. therefore, it can be easily overlooked during audio playback. a different cable might even make a difference. This is a major disadvantage compared to some of the disadvantages of its competitors. As far as this thing fits into a gaming headset, I can only think of two or three headsets that I would choose instead. This is a better gaming headset than mine. They don't sound so good but they are very loud and sound just as good as anything else. The program will prompt you to adjust the shape of your ears and head during the initial setup with your smartphone. this means that you have to take a photo of your face and each ear with the back camera of your smartphone. OK, I think that's stupid. I don't think they're going to get any valuable information about my hearing from a granular series of photos you have to snap blindly on your head. Wow, what a stupid decision. This feat is just ridiculous, but even the concept smacks of bullshit. I think it was made to remind you of nu-some branded headphones that sounded good but were totally just a Bs DSP configuration of so-so headphones. It's like this marketing aspect when I see marketing, that does not come directly from the retail packaging itself. I can't see any significant improvement in sound quality before or after I've finished some nonsense. just be honest I'd still have trouble recommending a headset over this one that doesn't come with a significant price increase. it goes over $100 before I'm sure it's a better sounding headset. bottom line. that it is a better sounding headset. bottom line. that it is a better sounding headset. bottom line.
