I bought it for two reasons. Firstly it had 6 sockets with 3 USB ports and secondly but most importantly the ability to be wall mounted. Most extension cords have small slots on the back that will likely fit over screws. I've never managed to attach them securely. This extension actually has a lip with a small screw hole on each corner. I marked the wall, drilled holes and installed cavity wall dowels, then screwed the strip firmly to the wall. Ideal.
