It does what it says monitor stand. High quality, durable. Fairly easy to assemble, however you will need some strength to turn the wrench as you put the screws through the base and into the legs. I started with each bolt and slowly tightened all four a little at a time, just like you would tighten nuts on a tire. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the riser is "not the same" as on the Revain and even in the box it came in; black base with rounded edges and dark gray legs. Instead, the lift has a dark gray base with light gray legs. I wanted it to be black/dark gray to match the rest of my computer's layout (monitor, keyboard, speakers and other parts of the computer). Well, it's very well built and I'll keep it.
