Disappointed with heaters

I bought one of these heaters and it worked fine for a few days using only in my bedroom at night so I ordered a second one. While waiting for the second to arrive, the first one smelled burnt, stopped working and hasn't worked since, so I threw it away. I got the second. It worked fine for almost two weeks and two days ago it started making noise like it was an oil heater. I ordered two different heaters from Walmart that differ in style and brand and am hoping they will work.
