My model is the AF160 rather than the AF161 I ordered. I had the choice of return for a replacement or a $30 refund. I took the refund since there only seemed to be very minor differences between the two models and I didn't want the wire basket.I got the Ninja brand based on good reviews, but it is more expensive than what would have been my second choice, namely the Cosini. Someone claimed the latter had problems with quality, but it appears a lot on Youtube, seems to hold more and is a lot less expensive.Haven't cooked that much with it yet, but it seems to do a very good job. It doesn't have a bunch of food pre-sets, but you don't need them. Since you can set temperature and time on the various cooking modes, the question is why are they there? The answer seems to be they offer varying fan speeds. The Max setting has a fixed temperature of 450 degrees which can't be changed and is good for frozen fries and other foods for maximum crispness. There are a zillion recipes on Youtube and other sites and those are the best sources. The only caution I would add is most cooking times seem to be too long, so always check progress. Basically a very good buy, but a little pricier than some of the others. While other products look good on paper, things like ovens, electric grills etc., they turn out to be hard to clean. Clean up on this thing is a breeze. Although it claims to be dishwasher safe, all it needs is hot soapy water and a soft sponge. I don't have a dishwasher, and wouldn't use it for this if I did.
