I love long yarn with a color repeat - there are so many creative ways to use it that colors do more than just stripes. Anyway, this is a good variation on the theme. I'm making a round shawl out of feathers and a fan (hemlock ring) and it looks really cool. I'm on my third ball and haven't hit a single knot, which is always nice. The yarn has a smooth, crunchy surface, but is still quite soft. I think it's good for socks.
