Media could not be loaded. I was very impressed when I opened the package. The first thing I noticed was how difficult it is. The glossy printed cardboard sleeve includes a durable black plastic sleeve. The photos in the seller's ad accurately reflect the contents of the case. The caliper itself makes a solid and well-made impression. The only obvious plastic is the LCD, the rest is metal. The fine adjustment roller feels very loose but works great. I've used vernier calipers to measure the dimensions of various computer ports and connectors for a project I'm working on, and repeated measurements have yielded consistent results. In terms of accuracy I have no idea how this compares to a top notch scientific instrument but it will be more than enough for any measurements I will ever need. For the price I'm very happy with it.
