After much deliberation, I decided to purchase the Kit Fort KT-1646 as my waffle maker. As a result of our requirement for a model with a small footprint, there is very limited room in the kitchen. This model is an excellent choice. I tried a few different waffle recipes, and they all turned out great. They do not catch fire easily and cook rather rapidly. Although the panels are not detachable, there are no difficulties associated with cleaning them after usage. A simple wipe with a cloth will get everything sparkling clean. The power of this little one is also very appealing, coming in at 1200 W. Waffle aficionados, in particular, should give it a go in my opinion. On a personal level, I had zero interest in making a purchase. By the way, this is not the first product that I have purchased from this particular firm. Purchased a grill earlier in the day. The favorable impression left by the grill, on the other hand, played a role in selecting the waffle iron. This is a vendor from whom I will surely continue to purchase equipment.
