(UPDATE 08/17/2021) I would like to thank everyone at XTOOL for fixing my scanner. It works just as well as before and I am very grateful. I still think it's a great scanner, but I didn't have to write a bad review to fix my tool. But despite everything, I definitely recommend this tool, it's the best I've ever had! To start I would like to say that I have had my scanner for almost a year and it has been great, but I recently tried to update it and now when it loads the home screen it immediately turns off with a message that the device is locked. I know most would think the battery was dead, but it was fully charged before it happened and I plugged it in and everything is still the same. I tried to contact XTOOL but didn't get a reply. So my advice is to look at other scanners as XTOOL has terrible customer and tech support.
