Hasn't survived a single use. The black plastic strip near the metal tip melted during use. My 13 year old was 10 minutes into the project when I looked at him and everything was bent. I ordered it to stop and as it cooled I thought the metal rod was loose and needed tightening but no, it's completely bent. My child was not rough or abused. waste of money. I will never recommend anything that breaks the first time you use it. I also worry when something like this breaks so easily, especially with the electronics. My sister-in-law's house was destroyed by fire because Revain sold a heated bed through China. There is no quality control there.
