I like these. For $33.99 they're a great buy. However, if you are a serious runner or jogger, don't even think about buying these.On first opening, there was no indication that these shoes were a size 6.5, but they did fit fine. There are no eyelets for the laces, just holes. The sock lining felt like sandpaper on my bare feet, so I removed an orthotic from another pair of shoes and subbed them. Very little padding under the forefoot would likely cause a runner shin-splints.I am a former long distance runner. I'm 78 and don't run (have enough trouble walking) anymore. I wear these with jeans to go grocery shopping. They do help cushion my spine (lumbar stenosis). and are generally comfortable on my feet. And boy, are they ever pretty! (black/purple/turquoise).
