I bought this too soon so my return window closed immediately after the new Smash Bros Ultimate GameCube Controllers shipped today (November 2nd 2018) which is the main reason for the purchase. I don't have to worry about that because as I've been testing all day it works great with the Nintendo Switch with no issues. For reference, I've tested it with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, and even Okami HD. I should also add that I haven't tested this on my Windows PC, so I can't vouch for its performance on that platform. The adapter itself has a long, thick cable that feels solid. The case itself feels a little cheaper than the official adapter, but it doesn't feel flimsy at all. You only need to plug in the black USB port for the adapter to work and the gray USB port is for the vibrate function if that suits your style. The controllers fit all adapter ports and fit snugly, no risk of falling out while playing. There isn't much input lag that I noticed during my testing. Overall: This is a great, well-made, and inexpensive option if you can't afford an official adapter. I highly recommend this, but I highly recommend spending the extra money on an official controller. ** Save for free on the adapter, not the controller. **
