My 5 year old loves his cozy space socks! He wore them all winter. I bought size 8-12 based on reviews and size chart, he wears shoes 12 and the socks fit perfectly. I machine wash and tumble dry it, I haven't noticed much shrinkage. Also for those worried about "dog hair", it's sheep's wool - it's wool socks, it's natural! Decreases after washing. My son didn't mention they were itchy and in fact he gets sad when they are in the wash because he loves them so much! We spend a lot of time outdoors in all weathers and they keep you warm and dry.
