Otterbox makes products that last. It's their trademark and they're good at it. But buying a safe USB charger is like buying a bulletproof Pez dispenser: what's the point? So I'm going to ignore the fact that this charger is made of thicker, better plastic with stiffer metal prongs and just go through the pros and cons. Pros: -2.4 amps yet tiny even with non-foldable pins. It fits in your pocket, not to mention your luggage. Fast Charge: iPad Air charges from 10% to 100% in 2 hours. 49 mins. That's better than Apple's old big 2.1A charger that took 3 hours of precision processing. The pins are snug, the USB connector fits snugly around the cable but not too tight. Cons: - Pins don't fold, so uncomfortable. chargers dead? So you don't need this function.
