I was amazed at how good the signal is from the small antenna. I knew that replacing the standard radio in my 92 s10 would result in the loss of some stations and it did. Then I buy this short antenna to replace the larger one that was on my truck. I thought I would buy an antenna booster to match the shorter one. But I would wait to order a booster. I installed a short antenna and decided I wouldn't get enough signal with my truck parked in my garage. WOW! With a factory antenna I pick up stations that were just static. I have an Alpine bluetooth stereo in my 1992 Chevy S10 truck and I only have this short antenna and I am very impressed with how great it works, looks good and only took 5 minutes to install.
