I wish I could give it 4.5 stars because the rug is almost perfect. It has great looks and it runs well and stays in place. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the mat comes rolled up tight and I haven't managed to lay it perfectly flat on my desk in the weeks since I bought it. I've tried putting heavy objects on it, flipping it, and even vaping for days. As you can see from the photos, there are waves on both sides, and the side that was rolled up tightest is still not touching the table. This is a cosmetic issue that doesn't affect the mat's performance, but isn't appropriate for OCD. If the creators are reading this, I know that curling makes sense for shipping and storage, but I'd happily give 5 stars and even pay more money to have it shipped in a flat container so the mat never curls. Alternatively, you can roll it much looser so the most rolled edge isn't as warped, or make other design changes that help the end user look clean and professional.
