Review on Winterize Your Trailer with GOLDPAR Blowout Adapter: Say Goodbye to Frozen Plumbing! by Antonio Bacon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Super Light and Small

An absolutely easy way to winterize your RV's plumbing. It's very small so it could easily fit in a toolbox so you could lose it and another one next year. Star deducted because the 3 parts are not glued with Teflon tape. Add your own.1. Drain the lines from the underside of your RV.2. Drain the water from the water heater by pulling on the anode. Replace it when you're done.3. Make sure your air system is set at 40psi or less. Install this at the water inlet.4. From there, run each cold water faucet until only air comes out. Then make hot water faucets.5. Run the potty and shower heads inside6. Perform an outdoor shower.7. Check them again and then disconnect the fresh water supply.8. Open a few taps and then pull the anode back to HWH.9. It's not a bad idea to drain the black wash system if you have one.10. Antifreeze in pea trap bowls, seal pot and tub. Add a little to each gray tank and your black one too.11. Remember to also empty the fresh water tank.

Pros
  • Brass Material: The winter adapter is made of lead-free brass, solid construction, not easy to break or deform, durable and safe to use, greatly increasing the life of the product.
Cons
  • Dodgy Purchase for the Elderly
