Review on 🖱️ Logitech MX Anywhere 3 for Mac: Compact Wireless Mouse with Ultrafast Scrolling, Portable Design, and Customizable Buttons - Pale Grey by Joe Michels

I used this mouse for 10 minutes before I felt like throwing it against a wall. The box was a little wrinkled at first, but that's ok. A few years ago I used a Logitech MX Anwhere mouse. It was an amazing mouse despite running on battery power. The batteries lasted a long time so as not to cause any inconvenience. It also had a place to store a USB stick. None of the new models have a port to store this key, which is a major inconvenience. My current mouse was the Logitech MX Anwhere 2S and in my opinion the perfect mouse. However, the left mouse button started losing its touch. Sometimes no click was registered. I work a lot with Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere, so this is more than just a web browser tool for me. Here are some of the disappointments. First, they removed scrolling on the left and right sides of the wheel. Super inconvenient when working in design programs. Another issue with the scroll wheel, and I have no idea why they did it, is that they removed the click to switch between ratchet scrolling and hyper scrolling. On the 2S you could press the wheel to change this, which came in handy when working with large artboards in design software, zooming in or just scrolling. If you want to scroll slowly and take a close look, leave the scroll ratchet on. If you want to quickly jump to a section, click the wheel and scroll super fast. That's the middle button now, but wait, it gets EVEN worse! If you're scrolling slowly you won't have any problems with ratchet scrolling, but once you scroll at a certain speed it automatically becomes hyper-scrolling and there's no way to turn it off. This is beyond annoying and makes absolutely no sense. Next, the ergonomics. The 2S fit my hand perfectly, but as soon as I got my hands on it, I knew something was wrong. The protrusions on the sides of the mouse have been reduced, making finger placement less comfortable. My pinky kept slipping on the right side. Even my thumb seems to slip off as the barrier is less pronounced. Also, the up and down arrows are definitely not that handy. If you only need a mouse for surfing the web, buy a cheap mouse as they are extremely overpriced and not worth half their retail price. I really don't understand how it got through R,D and QA. Logitech is slowly going downhill. As another user said in a review, "Don't fix what ain't broke."
