The socks are really compression socks but they were easy to put on my 11.5m men's foot. The toe box was easy to align properly and it was easy to smooth under the heel and over the ankle. The height of the sock was about "ankle length". After a single wash and tumble dry in the general purpose machine, they're a little shorter, but still not in the "no show" version, which I don't care. I don't think they lost length on the second wash/dry.
