My wife and I went to Spain last summer for our honeymoon. We spent time between Barcelona, Denia and Valencia. I wanted to spend time enjoying myself without worrying about my stuff. It was a bit hot at times but that was all in all a minor inconvenience. The strap is adjustable. I tended to wear it a little low so most of it was below my pant line. Not easy under the circumstances, especially when I'm trying to be inconspicuous, so I've often waited until I was in a toilet stall or seated at a table. In my back pocket I had a mock wallet with a few dollars in it. It was probably overkill but we had a great time, I was calm and everyone got home safe.
