Review on Enhance Your Performance with the On-Stage Posi-Lok Mini Microphone Boom Arm by Troy Larson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Accessory work needed

This could be a winner BUT. The manufacturing process needs improvement. I give 4 stars for form, function and value. It would cost $60 or more if it was a molded part (serrated part) with a knurled stem for the mic clamp etc. The problem is that the stock is welded on one side, making it easy to flex when making adjustments or simple changes to gear positions. . Hell, you could even hit him. Over time, the metal will tire and crack. If you install and disassemble a microphone like me, this may not be the way to go. It's built to cut costs, but there's not much room to do what it does as a boom mic.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
