Review on 💾 Sabrent USB 3.0 to SATA HDD/SSD External Lay-Flat Docking Station [Supports UASP] (EC-DFLT) by Christopher Clearfield

Even after I had to look for a driver update myself to get my 5TB hard drive recognized by this thing, the drive stalled kept coming back after a minute of inactivity and went into sleep mode. Essentially, when I tried to access something on the drive, it froze and I had to power cycle the case to reset the drive. I had to wait almost 2 minutes for the drive to be recognized again on my computer, but it stopped again after a minute after not being used. Low quality product. This may be due to using a 5TB drive, I reckon less than 3TB could have been used, but it seems that finding a case for large drives was sad to say the least. Support just told me what I already knew and was doing. I had no choice but to return it.
