Doesn't work on my dash

The car phone mount showed that it could be easily attached to the windshield or dashboard. I drive a Toyota Sienna minivan and will not attach it to my dashboard. It kept falling off before I could put my iPhone on the mount. I've tried many times and couldn't get it to work. I tried attaching it to the windshield and it worked! I used a suction cup locking lever to secure the windshield in place. I put my iPhone 13 Pro Max down and it held it in place. To stretch the bases of your arms and legs, push on your lower back. It does not pop out and must be pulled out by hand. There was no gooseneck stabilizer in my package. It still works without. I probably wouldn't use it even if I had it because it's permanent. I got this primarily for travel, so I want to be able to carry it from car to car. This car phone mount does what I need and the price is cheaper than other brands.
