Absolutely love this bookcase - it has a unique style with the wood and metal, and the open style makes it feel less imposing than a traditional bookcase. Even with a full shelf of books, the design makes sure there will be no bowing in the middle, even if the boards weren't extremely sturdy. Of note: Putting the bookcase took a small bit of effort, as the directions weren't entirely clear on the crossbars, and I would highly recommend using a drill with the appropriate screw fitting to save time. Otherwise I was easily able to put it together myself, but 2 people may be needed to lift/move the bookcase once put together. Highly recommend the bookcase!
