I'm sure taking it off and applying a little extra high stickiness to keep it going can help.
The handle is definitely useful in certain situations where it is easier to raise the trailer tongue (snowmobile trailer). The only thing to note is that the handle will start to slip quite often. I'm sure taking it off and applying a little extra high tack to keep it in place will help.
