Review on 🚁 F11 4K PRO Drones: Captivating 4K Camera, Extended Flight Time, and Enhanced Features by Nate Caldwell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great 4k video quality but there are a few small issues I'm trying to fix

I own a lot of drones and have flown them over the last few years. Most of them cost around $100, which looks more like toy drones than professional DJI models. But it was good to practice and learn from before deciding to get this one. For under $400 I'd say it's pretty impressive. In any case, it's not cheap, but it's very affordable for those who want to switch to more professional shooting. As you can see, real 4K video from this 2-axis gimbal is very stable and clear. It features 2x zoom and up and down camera controls on the remote control. The remote control is pretty simple and easy to use just like any other drone you may have flown. A limitation. DO NOT PRESS the STOP button on the controller. What it does is simply disable the propeller when you're in the air or on the ground. This way you can imagine that if you accidentally press this button, your drone will crash. It's important to note one important thing, that I made a mistake by not doing it or doing it wrong - you need to calibrate the drone by pressing the stick in the 5 and 7Β° positions. clock position. The front white light and the rear blue light flash. All you have to do is keep the back of the drone horizontal and rotate your body so that your body is 360 degrees horizontal with the drone in front of you. Then hold the drone with the camera vertically down and rotate it another 360 degrees and the lights will stop blinking. I made a mistake and the camera was pointing up. So when I was flying and hit the return home button, it just turned itself off and almost lost the drone. Fortunately, he returned home when the battery was almost empty. It was pretty scary on the first flight. There is a note in the manual, but I just wanted to point out my mistake. Also, when calibrating the gyroscope, point the stick at 11 and 2 o'clock. If the light is constantly on, you can fly. You don't need an app to control the drone, but there are plenty of other features as well as the ability to see what the drone's camera is seeing, so it's pretty good to just plug it in even if you don't intend to record. I tested the GPS function where it follows the phone's GPS signal. It really follows as you can see in a scene where my son is running with a smartphone controller and the drone is chasing him. "Follow me" function when you mark an object on the phone screen and the camera follows your position, but the drone won. "Don't follow. One of the best features for beginners or kids is the app safety feature. By default when you go to setup you have beginner mode where it is set to a limited distance. So if you or your child try to fly further, it will not like an invisible fence. This drone has NO obstacle-obstruction mode, so be careful with objects. There's also a photo and video mode if you're posing, but I haven't been able to figure them out yet. A few small notes; I wish all 4 propeller bases had extended legs, not just the front two. Because when you land on the grass, the propellers are so low that they begin to grind up the grass. Battery life is around 25 minutes in camera mode, which means slow flight mode. There's a normal mode and then a turbo mode, which drains the battery quicker but offers smoother fast turns. Charging the battery with the 5W plug that came with my 1Amp iPhone and the other 2Amp took 8-9 hours to fully charge. It took about 5 hours to charge with a 10W 2A iPad plug. Overall I would rate this drone between intermediate and pro. For the price, this is a very good drone for exploring 4k videos from the air. Note: This drone set comes with 2 batteries that provide approximately 50 minutes of flight time and comes in a semi-rigid fabric case with a nice durable handle. Stay healthy and have a great holiday ahead of you. Update: Well it was flying great until I started getting this error "Compass in the way, support arm open? Mobile drone or calibration compass. I contacted the seller and they assured me I could still fly normally, and i added an updated picture as you can see because at 100ft it just got out of control and just crashed luckily the seller and amazon approved the replacement i have tested the new one and am still getting this error the I did and you can see white text on the top left of the screen. With further testing with the drone swapped out. In camera mode (slow flight mode) the battery only lasts 20 minutes. Another area where you need to be careful is, if you have an altitude limit and a distance, when it hits that mark you get a sudden reverse flight which is pretty scary how fast it twitches in flight , as if bouncing off an invisible wall. So try to sit further and try not to touch this label off the screen. Even if the GPS mode is turned off, it does not freeze even after calibration. It should drift straight ahead continuously. The only time in flight mode it's stable is in GPS mode. Not sure what it should be or is there something wrong with the new drone again. Also, the rear leg propeller hits the drone when I deploy it. It will require a software update to fix the bug and I'm not sure if it won't be as stuttery when it hits the flight limit set in the settings anyway. Will continue testing under different circumstances and hope it doesn't crash again with this persistent error.

Pros
  • More flight time
Cons
  • I'll be silent
