I purchased this product on 10/26/2016. I have to say that it was always connected to the network, so it never turned off for 10 months and it's still working. I use 5 gallon bottled water and have no issues with limescale or anything. This is a durable hot pot. 4 year review: No issues so far, I've had this device for 4 years and keep it connected to the network. Is always. today 01/13/2019. Update: Today is 3/3/2020 and it has been five years since I have this product, I have this hot pot on 7/24. kept and October will be five years I've had it so far. No problem, I've included some photos of the inside when it's filled with water, I don't have a problem with limescale or any type of scale, I think it's partly because I use purified water from a 5 gallon jug have used. . I'm not suggesting you use tap water (rinse water). If you do this, limescale can build up in this pan. At the very bottom of that hot pot is a small metal filter that you need to keep clean. In summary this is a very well built machine which I have had for five years now and have plugged it in 24 hours a day with no problems.
