Review on 🧴 Shea Moisture Strengthen, Grow & Restore Shampoo and Conditioner Set: Jamaican Black Castor Oil Combo Pack - 16.3 oz Shampoo & 13 oz Conditioner by Christina Jones

Okay, so! I used this shampoo and conditioner combo for the first time last night and am pleasantly surprised with the results. Before I tell you the details, I want to start by saying that I have the most fragile hair ever. It's fine and thin, damaged by heat and paint, and naturally has the texture of spiral curls on the bottom layers and dry, soft waves on my crown. My roots feel weighed down and the middle ends of my hair strands lack shine 😔 As I'm on a long road to healthy natural hair, I'm really trying to stay away from silicone/sulphate products. At first I was very hesitant to use this product as I was afraid that I would lose 2 remaining hairs as a result. But I read a lot of reviews and watched a lot of YouTube videos and in the end I decided to take the plunge and try it for myself. I used these products after applying my nourishing homemade oil treatment (hi @sunkissalba - seriously, you have to follow her on all her social media!). I then washed my hair with shampoo as usual. However, I had to shampoo twice to get rid of the oily mask that was on my hair. I noticed right away that my hair was SOFT and my scalp was clear, but not LITTLE like other shampoos. I then moved on to conditioner and tried (for the first time) finger combing my hair while applying conditioner and am surprised that all my knots and tangles are gone. After showering (the real challenge) I combed my hair and didn't use any curling products. I wanted to see what my hair would look like air dried and it looks so shiny and soft and reduced the amount of frizz I had on my head! My hair has soft long waves with NO curling products! The color also looks brighter and the roots more voluminous! How serious WTF! Lol The last thing on my mind is that I've hardly ever seen my hair fall out in the shower and brushing my hair after the shower is definitely my main goal! Overall I am very satisfied with this product and that after only 1 wash. I would love to see what happens after using it again without the oily hair mask. I wish you success!
