This USB-C docking station can be powered from the USB-C wall outlet that came with your laptop. No additional power supply required. Plug the USB-C power adapter into the rear USB-C port next to the 20V bullet connector. All ports are fully functional and it also charges a laptop connected to the front USB-C port. The connections all work perfectly: USB-A, Ethernet, audio, video. It loses triggering as the max DP output is 4k 30Hz not 4k 60Hz. I tested the DisplayPort and HDMI outputs and the manual also says a maximum of 4k 30Hz. In addition, it is a durable, well-made product.
