I noticed a rubber o-ring in the stock gas cap on our 2004 Chevy Diesel that looked pretty worn and cracked, so I went looking for a new cap anyway and only came across this green diesel. labeled cap and knew it was the one to get! It fits perfectly as it should and with the markings there is no chance of a tank pump error if another family member borrows the truck and needs to fill it up. Good buy!
